Laurier Goddard was the biological father of Jacqueline Bockman though he is not listed on birth certificate. His parents were aware of the birth of his child, but circumstances prevented a marriage between Laurier and Nellie Doucet.

Obituary:
Mr. Laurier W. Goddard, 68, of 15 Wight St., Gorham, N.H., passed away Thursday, June 16, 1988, at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in South Ham, Quebec, Canada, May 18, 1920, the son of Ernie and Lucina (Guay) Goddard and moved to Berlin at an early age. Mr. Goddard was a graduate of Berlin High School with the class of 1940, and the Wentworth Institute, Boston, Mass. in 1949. He served with the U.S.Army during World War II. Until his retirement in 1981, he was employed by Micro Wave Development in Farmingham, Mass. as production manager. Members of the family include his wife, Olive (Montminy) Goddard of Gorham; two sons, Gary Goddard of Concord, and William Goddard of Framingham, Mass., one grandson, Jason Andrew Goddard of Concord; two brothers Alphonse Goddard of Berlin and Norman Goddard of Gorham; nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held Friday, June 17, at 10 a.m. at the Bryant Funeral Home, l Promenade Street. Interment was in the Holy Family Cemetery with Reverend Vailliere officiating. Among those attending the funeral from out of town were Gary Goddard, Jason Andrew Goddard of Concord, and William Goddard of Framingham, Massachusetts.
