Shared note	Peleg Wadsworth married Elizabeth Bartlett June 18, 1772. They had eleven children: dau. Zilpah, who wed Stephen Longfellow. They had two sons, Samuel Longfellow and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Charles (had eleven children like his parents) Henry who was a naval officer and lost his life in the Tripolitan War. (It was this Henry, who the poet was named after.) Only eight more children to find. LOL Hiram, Maine may not have good records, but wouldn't these names appear in a federal census 1790 Falmouth (Portland) or 1810, 1820, Oxford County? Papers and personal belongings of Wadsworth are in "Wadsworth Hall" and the "Wadsworth-Longfellow House." Wadsworth wrote a series of autobiographical letters to his children which were edited by H.
